Taylor Swift recently recounted a hilarious moment from her first date
with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Speaking on his “New Heights”
podcast, she admitted that, being unfamiliar with football at the time, she
genuinely wondered what it would be like for Travis to face his brother, Jason,
on the field during the Super Bowl.
She laughed at her own ignorance: "It was an insane question. I
thought everyone was on the field at the same time."
Travis calmly corrected her, explaining that both he and his brother
played offensive positions—so they’d never actually be facing each other in
that way.
Swift’s debut on the podcast took an unexpected turn as she also
announced her upcoming 12th album, **The Life of a Showgirl**, set for release
on October 3, complete with cover art, tracklist, and pre-orders opening.
In the conversation, she said she has since become “obsessed” with
football—cheering on Travis’s games and even celebrating the Chiefs’ draft
pick, Xavier Worthy, from home.
