Turner revealed how uncomfortable it was to film a kissing scene with her
former Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington, who had once played her on-screen
brother. During an interview, she admitted that both of them were literally
retching while shooting the romantic moment for their new gothic horror movie The
Dreadful, calling it “vile” and “the worst” part of her career.
She explained that the awkwardness came from their long history as on-screen siblings, joking that it felt even worse than filming alongside cockroaches and rats. Still, Turner said the script was powerful enough that they both decided to go ahead with the scene despite their discomfort.
