During a
scheduled MMA-styled showdown in Los Angeles with wrestler Syko Stu, the event
took a violent turn. Although the confrontation was supposed to be a scripted
face-off, it became real when Raja Jackson battered Syko Stu with a barrage of
blows, knocking him out and hospitalizing him.
Jackson's
father, Quinton, criticized the incident, saying his son had "no business
involved in an event like this" and that Raja is a trained MMA fighter—not
a pro wrestler. A representative from the hosting promotion, KnokX Pro
Wrestling Academy, issued a statement calling the attack “selfish” and
“reprehensible,” stressing that the incident never aligned with the academy’s
17-year history and reputation.
Witnesses
described the scene as chaotic, noting wrestlers intervened only after a live
stream captured the aftermath. One pro wrestler, known as “The Epic,” reassured
fans via Reddit that Syko Stu is okay, despite suffering facial fractures and
losing multiple teeth. He described the incident as an ordeal "that got out
of control."
Police have
launched an investigation into the attack.
