Brandon
Blackstock, former talent manager and ex-husband of singer Kelly Clarkson, has
died at the age of 48 after a private, years-long battle with cancer.
His family
confirmed the news, saying he passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones,
and expressed gratitude for the support they have received during this
difficult time.
Clarkson had
recently postponed the remainder of her Las Vegas residency to spend more time
with their two children, River, 11, and Remington, 9, while Blackstock was ill.
Brandon is
also survived by his two older children from a previous marriage, Savannah and
Seth. Savannah recently announced that she is expecting a baby girl in January.
Kelly and
Brandon were married in 2013, but their relationship ended in 2020 when Clarkson
filed for divorce. Their separation was finalized in 2022 after a lengthy legal
process involving custody and financial arrangements.
